StyleDotMe, a startup based in New Delhi has built a world class Augmented Realty (AR) product called mirrAR , which is currently being implemented by top jewellery brands in India like Tanishq, Malabar, PC Jeweller, Farah Khan Jewellery, Amrapali and several others .
The company has also signed up with several small retail jewellers across India post the launch of their platform at the Jaipur Jewellery show in December 2018. The company was seed funded by Indian Angel Network and is expanding its market presence in India and other countries by appointing channel partners across top 20 cities in the world where Jewellery sales are growing.
The company also has a consumer version of the application where consumers can virtually try jewellery using their mobile phones. The consumer version will be launched worldwide in September 2019.
StyleDotMe has launched one of its kind virtual jewellery store where people can try jewellery in real time through Augmented reality tech mirrAR and place an order without any physical inventory at Delhi and Bangalore airports. This is in association with Tanishq.
At the airports, the mirrAR experience zones give shoppers a luxury feel of a dressing room where they can sit and try hundreds of jewellery from Tanishq, place an order through their website, take pictures and immediately share on social media for an engaging experience. Users can see themselves in different jewelry products on a larger screen for an intuitive experience without going through multiple physical trials and trying out a larger variety.
This is the first time that a brand has done this such an intuitive experience at the airport.

Tanishq hosts over 200+ designs, with this ‘Virtual Try and Buy’ experience, through the augmented reality based platform, mirrAR. After a successful pilot of mirrAR at Bridal Asia, the brand now hosts this augmented reality product at Delhi and Bengaluru airports opening this innovation to more than 3L people daily. The Experience zone in Delhi is at Departure of T3 Domestic airport, after the security check. At Bengaluru it is at Domestic Airport, Departure.
